Larceny

Steal like an artist. I personally like to think of it as cross-pollinating.

Artists/writers/creatives don’t work in a vacuum. We are sponges and magpies. Titian’s red has shown up in other artists’ work. Shakespeare’s rose shows up in Gertrude Stein’s rose. And so it goes…creatively.

Larceny

I am what I am
wrangler of prose, lover
of a well-wrought phrase

because twelve little girls
In two straight lines walked
the streets of Paris

I am what I am
dreamer in flight

because a bridge
between starshine
and clay exists
